PEAK PALETTE: Cloughmore Stone
INSPIRED BY: Cloughmore Stone, Rostrevor, County Down, Northern Ireland—the legendary 50-tonne glacial boulder perched high above Carlingford Lough. Steeped in Irish mythology, the giant stone is said to have been thrown by the mythical giant Fionn mac Cumhaill during a battle across the lough. Today, it remains one of the Mourne region's most iconic viewpoints, offering panoramic views across Carlingford Lough, the Cooley Mountains and the surrounding forests.
