THE VIEW THAT STARTED IT
Some places become part of your story without you realising it. For Mourne Peak, Warrenpoint, Co. Down is one of those places.
From the shore beside Warrenpoint Baths, the view opens across Carlingford Lough towards the Mourne Mountains and Cooley Peninsula. Slieve Martin and the Rostrevor landscape rise in the distance, while Omeath and Carlingford sit across the water. It's a landscape we've looked out over countless times.
At a time when mental health wasn't in the best place, Warrenpoint became somewhere to get outside, slow down and clear the head. It offered space to walk, breathe and step away from everything for a while. It remains a place to return to for walks, coffee and the peacefulness of the waterfront.
When Mourne Peak began taking shape, we wanted to create clothing inspired by the landscapes we know, the places we love and the views that feel like home. Looking at the wider clothing market, we saw plenty of designs celebrating famous mountains, national parks and destinations around the world. What felt less represented were the local places and familiar landscapes surrounding the Mourne Mountains.
We wanted to look closer to home. Could a view connecting Warrenpoint, Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains become something worth wearing?
The Panorama Tee started with this view.

FROM PHOTOGRAPH TO CONCEPT
The Panorama Tee began with the original photo from the Warrenpoint shore. We wanted to capture the character of the landscape while giving it a distinctive Mourne Peak identity.
We digitised the photo and began developing the artwork, refining the details, colours and composition to create a graphic, retro-inspired interpretation.
The aim was simple: keep what made the view recognisable while turning it into something unmistakably Mourne Peak.
The finished design became our second ever T-shirt and first true Graphic Tee, marking an important step in the development of Mourne Peak and an approach that still shapes what we do today: creating clothing around places, landscapes and the stories connected to them.
Start with a place that means something. Understand what makes it special. Then turn that connection into a design.
ABOUT WARRENPOINT
Warrenpoint sits on the northern shore of Carlingford Lough, where the coastal landscape of Co. Down meets the Mourne Mountains. From the waterfront, the view stretches across the lough towards Omeath, Carlingford and the Cooley Peninsula, creating one of the area's most recognisable landscapes.
Warrenpoint is a natural base for exploring the wider Mourne landscape, with Rostrevor, Kilbroney Forest Park and the Mourne Mountains all nearby. From waterfront and woodland walks to mountain routes and viewpoints, the area brings together sea, forest and mountains in one place.

It was this combination of coastline, water and mountains that made Warrenpoint such a natural starting point for the Panorama Tee.

FROM WARRENPOINT TO MOURNE PEAK
The Panorama Tee was created early in the Mourne Peak journey, from a simple idea: take a view that meant something to us and turn it into something people could wear.
Rather than focusing on a single summit, the Panorama brings together Warrenpoint, Carlingford Lough, the Mournes and Cooley Peninsula. A landscape rooted in home, but one we wanted to give a much wider stage.
For us, that became part of the idea behind Mourne Peak. The Mournes don't need to be changed to be celebrated. They just need to be seen.
We wanted to take the landscapes we know and love and create clothing that could represent them anywhere in the world, putting the Mournes alongside the mountains and destinations celebrated by the biggest outdoor brands.
Looking back, the Panorama helped shape what Mourne Peak could be. It showed us that a design can start with one familiar view at home and still have a place on a global stage. Sometimes the best inspiration is right outside your door.
We believe a T-shirt can be more than just a graphic. It can carry a place, a memory or a feeling, while giving people a way to take the Mournes with them, wherever they go. The Panorama tee is our way of doing just that.

ABOUT MOURNE PEAK
Mourne Peak is an independent clothing brand inspired by the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. We're rooted in the Mournes, and everything we create starts with the landscape around us, from mountains and trails to coastlines, places and stories.
Our Graphic Tee collections are designed in the Mournes and built around those connections to place. Every design has a reason for existing, whether it's a mountain, a familiar view, a local landmark or a memory made in the landscape.
The Panorama Tee was one of the designs that helped shape that approach. Starting with a view from Warrenpoint across Carlingford Lough towards the Mournes, it showed us that the landscapes around home could inspire clothing with an identity of its own, and that the Mournes could be represented far beyond home.
It's an idea we're continuing to build on. Designed in the Mournes. Inspired by the places that feel like home.
DESIGNED IN THE MOURNES.
The Panorama reflects how we approach design at Mourne Peak: looking to the places we know, the landscapes around us and the stories connected to them, then turning those connections into something you can wear.
But being inspired by a place also means giving something back to the community around it. That's why £1 from every Mourne Peak purchase supports The Well, helping support mental health and emotional wellbeing across the Mournes and wider community.
If you or someone you know needs support, The Well is there to help.

TWO PALETTES. ONE PANORAMA.
The Panorama Tee is available in two Mourne Peak palettes, each offering a different interpretation of the same landscape.
COOLEY BLUE: Draws from the deeper tones of Carlingford Lough and the Cooley Peninsula, giving the graphic a cooler, coastal character rooted in the landscape that inspired it.
CARLINGFORD LOUGH: Takes a lighter, warmer direction, giving the Panorama Tee a softer coastal feel while retaining the character of the original view.
Two palettes. One place. One Panorama.
